Local Doctor Helps Junior High Students Understand Path of Blood
Students in Smith-Cotton Junior High teacher Andrew Turner's Medical Detectives class are studying the path of blood through the heart.
On Sept. 21, Dr. Josh Valtos of Bothwell Regional Health Center was the guest speaker and he dissected a cow heart to walk the students through the path of blood and purpose of the heart.
