Loell Howard Richards, 86

Loell Howard Richards, 86, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, October 09, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 17, 1926 in Sedalia, a son of Ollie Edward Richards and Iola Francis Fischer.

He enjoyed motorcycles and antique cars.  He loved to dance and spend time on the golf course. Loell was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, The Moose Lodge, Elm Hills Golf Club and the West Central MO Vintage Club. He served his country honorably in the US Army.

He is survived by three children, Howard Wayne Richards of Garden City, MO, Robert Allen Richards of Canon City, CO and Melody Ann Brooke of Lawson, MO; two stepchildren, Jeannie and Tom Florez; one sister, Patricia Weir of Sedalia; three brothers, Leo Richards of Sedalia, Loy Richards of Warrensburg, MO and Dean Richards of Richmond, MO; eleven grandchildren and special friend, Martha Jo.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Sue Romine and one son, Roger Dale Richards.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 11, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Ted Francis officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church or American Cancer Society in care of the funeral chapel.
