Lois Paul, 89, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Winchester Meadows Enhanced Living Center, Sedalia.  She was born on May 11, 1925 in Lineville, IA a daughter of Odus and Blanch (Amis) Fenimore, who preceded her in death.

On June 13, 1946 in Eddyville, IA she was united in marriage to Raymond F. Paul who preceded her in death on June 18, 1999.

Lois graduated from The State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, IA then taught school in Eddyville, IA.  She was den mother and room mother for her children when they were young.  She was scorekeeper for swimming and enjoyed playing bridge, cards of all kinds, and golf.  Lois was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by eleven children,  Nancy Paul of Kansas City, MO, Mark Paul (June) of Santa Barbara, CA, Mary Boevers (Bruce) of Loveland, CO, Michael Paul of Sedalia, Lynn Shoemaker of Springfield, MO, Stephen Paul of Lee’s Summit, MO, Robert Paul of Sedalia, James Paul of Atlanta GA, Dennis Paul (Terri) of Sedalia, David Paul (Judy) of Sedalia, Jeffrey Paul (Julie) of Lee’s Summit, MO; one sister, Hazel Glaze, of Ankeny, IA; twenty grandchildren, Charles, William and Joseph Paul, Paul and Christine Boevers, Erin Grubbs (Brian), Sean Paul (Tyger), Michael Shoemaker (Patty), Grant Paul, Robby Paul (Katherine), Shane Paul (Kim), Stephanie, Ryan, Christopher, Jenny and AJ Paul, Joshua Paul (Dixie), Jacob Paul (Becky) and Jordan Paul and twelve great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Darlene Simmons, Mildred Bracewell and Jean Bornhauser; one granddaughter, Jamie Shoemaker (Torres).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sedalia with Father Mark Miller C.PP.S. officiating.

Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm with visitation to follow until 8:00 pm, on Friday evening, November 14, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
