Loletta Suzanne Canaday, 67, of Sedalia passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.  She was born on November 20, 1948 in Sedalia, the daughter of Herman Garner and Joyce Dirck, who both have preceded her in death.

On August 27, 1997 in LaMonte, she was united in marriage to Gary Canaday, who survives of the home.

Loletta was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She was a homemaker and enjoyed putting together puzzles, working crossword puzzles, watching the Hallmark channel on TV and loved collecting angel figurines.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sharon Comfort; three sons, Robert, Louis and John Comfort all of LaMonte; two sisters, Nicky Bullock (James) of Sedalia and Tina Garner of Rolla, MO; two brothers, Robert Garner (Judy) of California, MO and James Garner of Sedalia; a half brother, Michael Garner of Grandview, MO; six grandchildren, Trevor, Ashley, Emily, Ambar, John Jr., and Samual; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with David Dukes officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Burial will be at LaMonte Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad, Luke, Jake and Sam Kindle, Robert Salmons, Jr., Robert Garner and Jake Noel.

Honorary bearers will be James Garner and Lewis Neal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
