Louis Anthony Schultz age 77 of Smithton died on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born on January 19, 1936 in Wentworth, Missouri son of Clarence A. Pauline T. Diebold Schultz. Louis married Alberta Jean Sperandio on September 20, 1955 in Verona, Missouri and she survives of the home.

Louis graduated from Monett, Missouri High School and received his associates degree from Drury College. He worked for Sherwin-Williams in Sedalia for several years. After retiring he owned and operated A & S Auto Mart in Knob Noster. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Elks Lodge # 125 both in Sedalia. He enjoyed going to the lake house, golfing, hunting, camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters; Theresa Frear (Maurice) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Cynthia Sullivan (Timothy) and Geralyn Gray (Stephen) both of Macomb, Illinois, three sons; Anthony Schultz (Margaret) of Cole Camp, Timothy Schultz (Amanda) of Sedalia, Francis Schultz (Lori) of Smithton, one sister; Mary Ann McDonald of Pensacola, Florida, twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. He was preceded by two brothers; Robert and Donald Schultz.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Mark Miller C.PP.S. officiating. Friends may call after 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Monday with visitation until 9:00 P.M.at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Knights of Columbus or Elks Lodge # 125 in care of the funeral home.
