With Mother Nature dumping heavy rain on the Lucas Oil Speedway grounds throughout the day on Friday, officials with Lucas Oil Speedway and the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League were forced to cancel the Friday night portion of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling Nationals.

Saturday's weather forecast looks much better and is on as scheduled. Friday's event will not be made up.

"We waited as long as we could but the persistent heavy rain left us with little choice but to pull the plug." stated Lucas Oil Speedway GM Dan Robinson. "The outlook for Saturday is much better with warmer temps and sunshine expected."

Season championship leaders on the Champion's Tour include: Fully Loaded (MAV-TV Unlimited Super Stock Tractors), Midnight Revenger (Optima Batteries Super Modified 2 WD Trucks), Lucas Oil Green Streak (E3 Sparkplugs Super Modified Tractors), Lethal Weapon (ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks), Greenline Express (Protect the Harvest Pro Stock Tractors), Armed and Dangerous Excessive Force (ARP Lightweight Super Stock Tractors), Maximus Prime (Mac Trailer Hot Rod Semis), Fast & Furious (Super Farmer Tractors) and Stray Dog (TS Performance Modified 4WD Trucks).
