Lyceum Theater Ends Their Season With a Vegas Bang: Tuna Does Vegas [INTERVIEW]
Here in our area, we’re always looking for new, fun and inventive ways to entertain ourselves. After a while, the movies, video games and even sporting events can get a bit old. It’s good every now and then to try something new. The Lyceum Theater not only has something new, but something very fun as well!
I got to talk with Quinn Gresham, Artistic Director at the Lyceum Theater of Arrow Rock. He told me all about a new show they’re doing ‘Tuna Does Vegas.’ It’s a funny story about a small southern town that goes to the big city. Neither berg may ever recover, not to mention the audience, but with all the laughs coming, it’s bound to be one to remember. ‘Tuna Does Vegas” plot revolves around an oddball-conservative radio host, Arles Struvie, who announces on the air that he and his wife, Bertha Bumiller, are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows, but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride! Here’s my talk with Quinn for the details.
You can visit them on the web at their website, or call them up at (660) 837-3311. Don’t miss Tuna Does Vegas, Sept. 21 through Sept. 28. This is the last show of their season, so be there or be square!
