As Americans, we owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women of our armed forces who have fought and in some cases given the ultimate sacrifice to achieve the ends of life and liberty at home and abroad. Show-Me Honor Flight is honoring those who have fought and been prepared to die by providing free transportation and meals for our veterans so they can travel to Washington D. C. to visit their war memorials.

Top priority is given to senior veterans (World War II survivors and others who may be terminally ill). Each Veteran is paid for entirely by tax-deductible donations to the Show-Me Honor Flight based in Sedalia. The flight costs on average $350 per Veteran to participate in this full day venture. So far there have been nine flights, with another planned later this year. At this point, Show-Me Honor Flight is accepting applications from WW II veterans, Korean and Vietnam veterans, that are able to travel.
