Malla Ione Beardshear, 61

Malla Ione Beardshear, 61, of Warsaw, MO, passed away Sunday, September 13th, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 16, 1954 in Garden City, KS, the daughter of Milferd Krebs and Bessie Clark, who preceded her in death.

On February 27, 1999 in Garden City, KS, she was united in marriage to Jeff Beardshear, who survives of the home.

Malla was an avid reader. She also loved to spend time crocheting and fishing. She returned to school and received her Associate's Degree in medical billing and coding at the age of 57.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Kiel Beardshear of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Shannon Horning of Clinton, MO and Catherine Traugott of Dodge City, KS; two sisters, Maria Tuttle of Palmer Lake, CO and Linda McCombs of Lakin, KS; and one granddaughter, Ambrielle Lynn Traugott of Dodge City, KS.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
