Man Charged With Murder in Kansas City, KS Killing

A 45-year-old man has been charged in the shooting death of another man in Kansas City, Kansas.

Franklin Bryant Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas, was charged Thursday in Wyandotte County with second-degree murder in Tuesday's killing of Jerome Simmons. Bryant is jailed on $250,000 bond. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.

The prosecutor's office said in a news release that the investigation into the killing is ongoing.
