Man Shot In Stomach, Dies One Week Later

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police say a man critically injured in a St. Louis shooting last week has died. Officers say they found Michael Pankins conscious last Monday after discovering he was shot in the stomach. His death has been ruled a homicide. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says his death is one of at least 19 homicides so far this year in the city.
