Marcella Pauline Vansell, 77

She was born on June 23, 1936 in Kansas City, Kansas daughter of Herbert and Ialene Goe Young. She was married on Jan. 19, 1954 in Versailles to Kenneth Vansell and he survives. She graduated from Stover High School.

She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Marcella loved the Lord and attending church. She was a homemaker, caregiver and babysitter most all of her life. She enjoyed raising dogs and cooking for her family.

She loved caring for her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her husband she is survived by four daughters: Debbie Klein, Cindy Boatman (Brett), Karen Beach (Mike), Amy Knapp (James) all of Sedalia, seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, half brother: George David Young, one brother: David Goe Young, one great granddaughter: Madison Lee Wright.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Boatman, Kevin Boatman, Justin Klein, Michael Beach, Jr., Nathaniel Knapp and Austin Wright. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
