Margaret Frances Samer, 95, of Pilot Grove, MO passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Katy Manor Nursing Home, Pilot Grove.  She was born on November 23, 1918 in Fulton, MO, the eldest daughter of William and Edna (Paul) Wolfmeir.

On September 27, 1941 in Fulton, MO she was united in marriage to Eugene Brooks “Toby” Wallace, who preceded her in death on October 14, 1989.  On December 30, 1999 she was united in marriage to Anthony J. Samer, who survives the home.

Before her retirement, she worked several years as a teller at Excel Bank in Sedalia.  Prior to that she worked many years as a machine operator at Town and Country Shoes in Sedalia.  Margaret was a member of Parkview Christian Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, James Wallace and his wife Barbara of Sedalia; one daughter, Jeanette Messick and her husband Blix of Richwood, TX; five grandsons, James E. Wallace and his wife Debbie of Marshall, Jeffery Wallace of La Monte, Douglas Wallace and his wife Becky of Sedalia, Michael Wallace and his wife Cherri of Cole Camp, Glen Williams and his wife Laura of Richmond, TX;  three stepdaughters, Kathleen Pollard of Pilot Grove, Mary Craig of Pilot Grove and Janet Milner of Boonville; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; seven brothers; a stepson, Bernard Samer and one great granddaughter, Keisha Wallace.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery, Sedalia.
