Marguerite Rohrbach Green, 94, of Sedalia, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Marguerite was born on July 16, 1921 in Clarksburg. Her parents were Olive and Florance “F.D.” Allee. She was their first and only child. She grew up in Sedalia and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1939. After graduating she was employed by Bell Telephone. She married Ralph Rohrbach on December 25, 1941 and moved with him to Texas where they lived until the end of the World War II. At that time, they returned to Sedalia and Marguerite lived there the remainder of her life. Marguerite and her family attended the First Baptist Church of Sedalia.

Marguerite and Ralph had two children, a daughter, Karen, and a son, David. While the children were young, Marguerite volunteered at many school functions and served as a state officer of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). After Ralph passed in 1962, Marguerite started working for Dr. Braverman and later Bothwell Regional Health Center. She held various positions during approximately 20 years of employment at Bothwell. In her last position, as purchasing agent, she worked with other administrators to bring the first office computers into the hospital and directed the first automation of the purchasing system.

In 1991, she married a former classmate, C. O. Green. She enjoyed living on the farm with C.O. and became involved in many of his activities. Marguerite joined the Missouri CattleWomen's Association and attended Epworth Methodist Church with C.O. During these years, she enjoyed participating in a quilting group at the church and piecing several quilts for herself and her family.

Marguerite was preceded in death by both parents, two husbands, Ralph Rohrbach (1962) and C. O. Green (2011) and a grandson, Brett Rohrbach (1996). She is survived by two children, one daughter, Karen Ruffin and her husband Dan of Larkspur, CO; and one son, David Rohrbach and his wife Glenda of Meridian, ID; three grandchildren, Andrea Johnson and her husband Brad of Denver, CO; Jennifer Knudson and her husband Matt of Coeur d’Alene, ID; and Jacqueline Rohrbach and her husband Cody Stoddard of Ellensburg, WA. She is also survived by one stepdaughter, Susan Whitcomb and her husband Randy of Sedalia; one stepson, Steve "Slim" Green of Sedalia.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Shelby Seelinger officiating. The family will receive friends at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel from 10:00 - 10:45 am on Wednesday immediately prior to the graveside service.
