Marjorie Ann Ferguson, 72, of Windsor, Missouri, died Saturday afternoon, August 2, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO surrounded by family and friends.

She was born October 4, 1941, near Bryson, Missouri, the daughter of Albert James Miller and Gladys Fern (Christian) Miller.  On September 2, 1961, she was united in marriage to Stephen Henry Ferguson at The First Christian Church in Windsor MO.  Stephen proceeded her in death March 27, 2007. They spent many happy years together.

Marjorie was a Licensed Professional Counselor and worked for over 40 years in the education field.  The second half of her counseling career was spent in the Windsor School District.  After her retirement from the school system, she worked as a counselor at Royal Oaks Hospital, in Windsor, for several years.  She was a member of numerous Windsor area clubs and organizations.  Her passions were family, gardening and she loved a good mystery novel.  Marjorie was the embodiment of strength, kindness, love, wisdom, and patience; her ambition was to help others.  She will be greatly missed.  She lived and died by the following.

Survivors include two daughters, Andra Ferguson Fields and her husband Jeff, Windsor, MO; Meagan Manion and her husband, Heath, Swansea, IL; two brothers, David Miller and Russell Miller; a sister, Linda Pittman; two grandchildren, Jorie and Jude Manion and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith Miller and Lawrence Miller.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 7, 11:00 a.m., at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.  Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, August 6th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.  The family suggests contributions to the Windsor High School Master Scholarship Endowment Fund (WHSMSEF) and contributions may be left at the funeral home.  Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com
