A two-car crash on Wednesday in Saline County sent one Marshall woman to the hospital.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2010 Chevy driven by 17-year-old Jackson T. Neff, Marshall, failed to yield to a westbound 2015 Nissan driven by 25-year-old Alysia D. Soto of Marshall, on Missouri 41 at Highway E at 6:25 p.m., and struck the vehicle in the intersection.

Soto suffered moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital. Both drivers were wearing a safety device, according to the report.

The Chevy had moderate damage, but was driven from the scene, while the Nissan had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office assisted the Patrol with the investigation.
