Mary Louise Crane, 88, of Windsor, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born March 12, 1925, in Parsons, KS, a daughter of the late George W. and Mary Alma Lee (Cantrell) Jones. On August 16, 1942, in Parsons, she married Chester N. Crane, who preceded her in death on October 4, 2009.

She was raised and educated in Parsons. She worked at the Defense Plant in Parsons until her husband, Chester, came home from the Navy. In 1961, she and Chester, along with their three daughters, moved to Windsor. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Windsor. She worked at Rival Manufacturing and was a retail clerk at Carps.

Mary was a devoted wife and enjoyed everything with her husband, especially hunting. They enjoyed traveling to the Philippines, England and New York. She loved country music and liked to sing during car rides.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Thompson, and her husband, Donald, of Parsons, KS, Anita Nadeau, of Green Ridge, and Katherine Crane, Windsor; a sister-in-law, Sondia Murphy, of Beaver Falls, OR; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Vene “Frenchie” Nadeau.

Memorial services will be 1:30 pm, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church in Windsor with the Rev. Gene Ekstrand officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 pm until service time at the church.

Inurnment will take place at 2 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
