Maverda Mary “Mae” Decker, 91, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.

She was born February 28, 1922, in Plaquemine, LA, a daughter of the late Ernst John and Besse May Sharon Daigle. On September 10, 1938, in Orange, TX, she married L.M. Decker who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed collecting antiques and working in her flower garden. She wintered in Mesa, AZ, from 1982-2012 and had many friends in Sedalia and Mesa. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

She is survived by a son, Larry Decker, and his wife, Linda; a granddaughter, Michelle Dowler; and a great-granddaughter, Kassandra Dowler; all of Sedalia.

She was also preceded in death by a son, John Daniel Decker; and three siblings, E.J. Daigle, Clifford Daigle and Jeril Lee Fuller.

Visitation will be 9:30 am – 10:45 am, Monday, February 17, 2014, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 11 am in Crown Hill Cemetery.
