A 5K walk/run to benefit he Memory Lane Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be held in Sedalia on September 10 at 10 a.m. The walk will be held on the Katy Trail beginning at the shelter on the west side of the fairgrounds on Clarendon Road.

The cost is $20. Walkers will be able to create their own signs in memory of loved ones lost to suicide, and inspirational signs will be posted along the route. All proceeds will help co-pays for medicine or office visits through Katy Trail, Burrell and Pathways. Proceeds also help with Memory Lane events held throughout the year, including weekly support group sessions. Memory Lane Foundation founder Amanda Eisenbarth visited with Townsquare Media and talked about the group, and the upcoming 5K walk/run. Joining Amanda was Anna, who lost her brother, Adam, to suicide. Hear our full interview below.
