The Mid-Missouri Outlaws are ready for week two of their season and are heading out on the road to take on the Bloomington Edge. Both teams lost in their first game. The Outlaws lost to the Lincoln Haymakers in overtime 38-31, while the Edge lost to last year’s APFL Champion Sioux City Bandits 62-56. Due to previous commitments for the arena in Bloomington, the game will be played on Friday, Mar. 22 at 7:05 p.m.

Outlaws Head Coach Jason Pallo says that while he was not happy with the final outcome last week.  He wants to see improvement amongst the team and score more points to get the victory on the road. The first game was the first one for Offensive Coach Caleb Crooker, who said the team can not afford to put up a goose egg such as when both the Haymakers and Outlaws only had field goals in the third quarter. Both coaches were happy with the defense and keeping the team in the game, but now they have to get the offense and defense in unison. Both teams will be hungry for the win, so it should be an exciting game to watch.

For those that are making the trip to Bloomington, the Edge have offered 4 tickets for $25, plus they’ll have min-footballs given away to the first 1,000 fans.

For those not making the trip, I’ll have the broadcast of the game from Bloomington with a 6:50 pre-game show and 7:05 kick-off on 92.3 BOB-FM and streaming online.
