The Mid-Missouri Outlaws will be hosting the Wichita Wild on Saturday night (April 27), with the kickoff at 7:05 p.m.

The Wichita Wild come into this game in first place with a record of 6-1, with their only loss coming to the Kansas City Renegades. The Outlaws are still in search for their first win of the season and lost last week to the Renegades by a score of 38-24.

The Outlaws did receive a bit of good news this week. Quarterback Kyle Christian who was injured in the 4th quarter against the Renegades last week, was cleared to play this Saturday after a hand injury to his throwing hand. In addition, quarterback Damien Dunning was also cleared to play. Dunning started against the Kansas Koyotes and was injured in his first drive after replacing Kyle Middleton. It should be interesting to see who starts at quarterback, but both quarterbacks are very supportive of the team and the feel the direction of the team is strong. Both quarterbacks are very mobile and can do a lot with the offense.

The defense will also get a shot in the arm as Colton Miller may be back with the team after he was injured when he was on the road against the Oklahoma Defenders.

Coach Jason Pallo still believes the key to the game is to hold the Wild to 35 points, and after the Wild beat the Omaha Beef, he feels they may be able to capitalize off learning from that game last week as both teams battled for first place.
