The Sedalia Bombers are in the midst of their 2012 baseball season and ever since Owner/Coach Jud Kindle set the season in stone, he marked Sunday, July 8, as a date he hopes fans of the Bombers and fans of the military comes out to Liberty Park/Dey Field.    The Sedalia Bombers will welcome the Military All-Stars Baseball team to the field and this is a first in Sedalia.

Kindle said, "This team is the best of the best players in the military, whether it be Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, or the Coast Guard.  This will not be an ordinary exhibition game as some of these players literally may have been stationed overseas and get the chance to play and our players are excited.  I hope we can fill the stands like we never have before to welcome them this Sunday."

The Military All Stars were started in 1990 at the request of then President George Herbert Walker Bush and according to their website, are said to be the Globetrotters of Baseball.  They have on their schedule 45 states and three countries and this Sunday at 7 p.m. will be an opportunity for you to appreciate our men and women in uniform and enjoy America's past time.

Our very own Air Force Reservist and play-by-play announcer, Kaleb Filis will broadcast from 5-7 p.m. and then bring the play-by-play at 7 p.m. online.
