Missouri Senator Calls For Governor Nixon To Resign

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A Missouri state senator is calling for Governor Jay Nixon to resign for "failed leadership" during the protests in Ferguson following the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old by a white officer. Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal on the first day of session Wednesday filed a formal "remonstrance" against the governor.
