Missouri Senator Defends Allegations
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri state Senator Paul LeVota says allegations that he sexually harassed an intern are unfounded. The Independence Democrat says a report released Wednesday shows there isn't proof he did anything wrong. Republican Senate President Pro Tem Tom Dempsey says at this time he's not calling for LeVota's resignation. But Dempsey says he doesn't feel the report clears LeVota of wrongdoing.
