Day seven of the Missouri State Fair is upon us and the first half of the Fair has had great temperatures, so let's hope that streak continues to go on.

Today is Senior Appreciation Day and there will be a wide variety of activities planned, including the Show-Me Bluegrass Festival with the 4 o'clock Jam at the Show-Me Tent.

The Pepsi Grandstand will have the Country Gold Tour with local legend, Leroy Van Dyke and the Auctioneers, plus Rex Allen Jr., Leona Williams, The Quebe Sisters Band, Narvel Felts, Bobby Bare, and Lynn Anderson.  This show will start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 or $20.

You will want to go to the Mathewson Exhibition Center for the Draft Horse Pull at 5 p.m. The World-Renowned Budweiser Clydesdales will also make their public debut from 6-8 p.m. just east of the Mathewson Exhibition Center and will continue to be on display through August 19.

The Touchstone Energy Stage will feature a banjo contest at 6 p.m. and the Kids Stage will have a Name That Child's Tune contest at 2 p.m.

The State Fair Arena will have the Antique, Classic & Farm Tractor Pull at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m..  You can get an all day ticket for just $8, or $5 for all day Senior Ticket.  If you just want to attend the evening pull, tickets are $7 or $4 for Seniors and ages 5 and under are free.
