Today is the first and final Wednesday of the Missouri State Fair. The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures to be in the upper 70s and lower 80s for the remainder of the Missouri State Fair.

Today (Aug. 14), is Senior Appreciation Day. There will be deals through the day for Senior Citizens. Seniors will get the chance to get a free blood pressure screening and health information at the Senior Lounge, sponsored by Bothwell Regional Health Center, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. The 3rd Show Me Bluegrass Festival will be going on throughout the fairgrounds. There will also be a Day of Dancing, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., at Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall. This is the final day of the “Old and Wow” Tractor and Equipment Show East of the Mathewson Exhibition Center.

The Bud Stage will feature Rachel Farley at 2 and 6 p.m., Missouri State Fair Idol at 4 p.m. with a Battle of the Bands at 8 p.m.

The Pepsi Grandstand will feature The Oak Ridge Boys for their 40th Anniversary Tour.

Should be a great day at the Missouri State Fair.
