Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident and Arrest Reports: Morning of Thursday, March 19, 2015

The following accident report is from the Missouri State Highway Patrol on the morning of March 19, 2015.

There was a two-vehicle accident that occurred at I-70 Westbound at the 34.6 mile marker last night (March 18) at 9:13 in Lafayette County.

46-year-old Brenda Mattoon, from Grain Valley, was driving her car and overtook a truck driven by 60-year-old Donald Rainey, from Odessa and they hit each other's vehicles. Mattoon was taken to Centerpoint Hospital with minor injuries.

There was a one-vehicle accident that happened on Missouri 291 at East 231st Street in Cass County last night (March 18) at 10:53. The crash occurred as 17-year-old Ashley Gilmore, of Harrisonville, was driving southbound, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Gilmore suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cass County Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Sharlotte Anderson for driving while intoxicated in Henry County last night (March 18).
