Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report For June 27, 2014

At 3:35 Thursday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri 127 just North of Adair Road in Pettis County. The crash occurred as a 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by 83-year-old Betty Brandt of Sweet Springs, and a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by 21-year-old Aaron Keele of Green Ridge were Northbound on 127, when Keele attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway, and was struck in the rear by the Brandt vehicle. Both vehicles were extensively damaged as they travelled off opposite sides of the roadway. Keele suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance for treatment. Brandt received minor injuries and sought6 her own treatment at the I-70 Medical Center.
