Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Report for June 30, 2016

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one vehicle injury accident yesterday morning (June 29). The accident occurred just after 9:00 in the morning at ROUTE Z, .1 MILE EAST OF COUNTY ROAD 1121, in Henry County.

The driver of a 1999 Mazda failed to negotiate a left hand curve, casuing the Mazda to travel off the right side of the roadway. The driver, identified as 18-year old Melissa R. Scrivener, of Warsaw, overcorrected and the Mazda returned to the road, then traveled off the left side of the road and overturned. Scrivener sustained moderate injuries in the wreck and was taken to Golden Valley Hospital, by EMS, for treatment.
