Sedalia man run over in his driveway while plowing snow Thursday night

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident involving a car and a tractor at 7:27 Thursday night in the 3100 block of Rose Road in Sedalia. According to the report, 51-year-old Todd Fredrickson of Sedalia was plowing his driveway on a 1955 Case Tractor when a 2012 Chevrolet driven by 55-year-old Chris Toalson of Sedalia struck the plow at the rear of the tractor, ejecting Fredrickson before the tractor ran over him. Fredricson suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by EMS for treatment.

Two teens injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon

At 1:40 Wednesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Buttbaugh Ford Road a mile South of Hopewell Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred as the 2008 Dodge driven by 16-year-old Truman Leicher of Hughsville and the 2007 Chevrolet driven by 18-year-old Jerry Freitas of Sedalia both crossed the center line on a curve and struck head-on. Two passengers in the Freitas vehicle received minor injuries in the crash. 19-year-old Sarah Edwards of Sedalia was taken by private vehicle for treatment at Bothwell Hospital, while 15-year-old Kinser Parker sought his own treatment.
