Lebanon woman suffers serious injury in a Benton County accident

At 7:10 Saturday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Highway 7 in Benton County. The accident occurred as the driver of a EZ Go Golf Cart, 17-year-old Katelyn Todd of Lebanon, Mo., traveled off a private roadway and drove into some trees. The teenager reportedly suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital by Life Flight for treatment.

Two Clinton residents injured in a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County

Around 3:30 Sunday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated an accident that occurred on US Highway 50 just east of County Road Northwest 501 Road, in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as the driver of a 1999 GMC Sonoma, 18-year-old Nikolas Lee of Clinton, lost control of his vehicle and ran off the side of the roadway. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and overturned several times before coming to rest on its wheels. Lee and a passenger, 18-year-old Samuel Annemann-Cover of Clinton, suffered moderate injuries. Both victims were transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Medical Center for treatment.

Rollover accident in Johnson County injures a 16-year-old female

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and the Holden Police Department reported a one-vehicle accident that occurred just south of Missouri 131 on Southwest 200 Road in Johnson County. The accident occurred as the driver of a 1994 Ford, 16-year-old Elizabeth Bailey of Holden, lost control of her vehicle and traveled off the roadway, where the vehicle struck an embankment and overturned. Bailey received minor injuries and was taken to Lees Summit Medical Center by EMS for treatment.

Warsaw man injured in a Benton County accident Monday night

Just before midnight on Monday night, 63-year-old Bill Roberts of Warsaw swerved to miss a deer, causing his 1993 Chevrolet to slide off the roadway, where it struck an embankment and overturned onto its top. The accident happened on Missouri Route “T” a half mile West of Downing Avenue in Benton County. Roberts was reportedly wearing his seatbelt and received only minor injuries. He refused treatment at the scene.
