Benton County motorcycle accident injures two Grain Valley residents Saturday night

Just after 9:30 Saturday night, the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a motorcycle accident that occurred on US 65 Highway north of Route “HH” in Benton County. The accident report states the driver of a 2003 Harley Davidson Motorcycle, 52-year-old Daniel Pearce of Grain Valley, hit mud on the roadway and slid, causing the motorcycle to overturn, ejecting the driver and a passenger identified as 49-year-old Nancy Pearce, also of Grain Valley. Both the driver and the passenger received moderate injuries and were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Cole Camp Ambulance.

Motorcycle accident Monday night injures Warsaw woman

At 7:13 Monday night, the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office reported a motorcycle accident that occurred on Highway 65 South of Highway “7” in Benton County. The accident happened according to the report as the driver of a 2007 Kawasaki, 29-year-old Cindy Carpenter of Warsaw, failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway. Carpenter reportedly suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Staff For Life to University Hospital for treatment.

Minor injuries reported in a Johnson County accident Monday afternoon

According to an accident report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 1:30 Monday afternoon, 38-year-old Angela Fera of Lees Summitt was driving a 2007 Yamaha Rhino on private property at 1497 Southwest and Highway 58 in Johnson County. The accident report states Fera attempted to make a sharp turn and overturned onto the passenger side. The accident report states Fera, along with 44-year-old Teresa Mann and 17-year-old Samantha Mann of Gladstone, received minor injuries in the accident. All three victims were transported to the Lees Summitt Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.
