56-year-old female suffers serious injuries in a Johnson County accident

 

Around 3:30pm Sunday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one vehicle accident on Northwest 1201 Road and 50 Highway in Johnson County. According to the report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2007 Yamaha, 56-year-old Wendy Manaco address not provided failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway, and overturn, ejecting the driver. Manaco suffered serious injuries, and was transported to Research Medical Center for treatment.

 

Pettis County accident injures a 25-year-old Smithton man Sunday night

 

At 9:30pm Sunday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department responded to a motorcycle accident on Northbound 65 Highway, and Missouri 765 in Pettis County. The accident happened according to the report as the 2007 Honda driven by Joshua Katemann of Smithton slid across the centerline and travelled off the roadway where it overturned. Kateman was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by the Pettis County Ambulance District for treatment of moderate injuries.

 

Knob Noster man hits a house in a Johnson County accident Sunday afternoon

 

Just after 4pm Sunday afternoon a 58-year-old Knob Noster man identified as 58-year-old Stephen Younce received minor injuries when his 1996 GMC Jimmy travelled off the roadway, and crossed a 310 foot  field, then struck a house before coming to rest. According to the Missouri State Highway patrol report Younce refused treatment at the scene. There was no information on the damage to the house, but the accident report states the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
