Pettis County accident injures a Cole Camp man Thursday evening

Around 5:20 Thursday evening, the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on US-65 Highway at Route “F” in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1996 Ford Truck driven by 59-year-old Lyle McMillin of Cole Camp travelled off the roadway, struck a culvert, and a road sign. The vehicle then crossed “F” and travelled back into a ditch before coming to rest. McMillin was not wearing his seat belt, and suffered moderate injuries in the crash. McMillin was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by Staff for Life for treatment.

Warrensburg woman injured in a Johnson County accident Thursday evening

Just after 5 Thursday evening (Dec. 11), the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with the Warrensburg Police Department reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Missouri Business 13 at Hawthorn Drive in Johnson County. According to the accident report the accident occurred as the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor driven by 47-year-old Angela D. Kavanaugh-Wyss of Warrensburg attempted to cross Missouri Highway 13, and struck the left side of a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. Kavanaugh-Wyss received moderate injuries in the accident, and was transported to Centerpoint Medical by Johnson County EMS for treatment.

37-year-old Warrensburg man suffers moderate injuries in a roll over accident

At 10:15 Thursday night (Dec. 11),  37-year-old Christopher M. Whalen of Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Lafayette County. The Missouri State highway patrol accident report states the accident happened as the 2013 Nissan Altima driven by Whalen was travelling Southbound on Missouri Highway 131 just South of Route “HH” in Lafayette County. According to the report the vehicle travelled off the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. Whalen was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Odessa EMS for treatment of his injuries injuries. The report also states Whalen was not wearing his seatbelt.
