Saline county accident injures a Marshall man

At 2:30 Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident that occurred on I-70 at Westbound Mile Marker 81.2. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2011 Ford F-150 driven by 49-year-old Jeff M. Thompson of Marshall travelled off the roadway, struck a guard cable, returned to the roadway, ran off the roadway a second time, and then overturned. Thompson suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

Carrollton man is injured in a Christmas morning accident

Around 6:30 Christmas morning a Carrollton man received injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened on US-65 Southbound at Bobcat Road in Saline County. The Missouri State Highway patrol report states the accident happened as the 2001 Ford Ranger driven by 44-year-old Phillip K. Henks of Carrollton began to skid, crossed the centerline and impacted a ditch. Henks received moderate injuries in the crash, and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for treatment.

43-year-old Sedalia man injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol accident report, at 6:10 Tuesday morning a 1998 Chevrolet S10 Pickup driven by 43-year-old Russell E. Dedrick of Sedalia ran off of Route “O” near Lee Road in Pettis County. The accident report states the vehicle then struck an embankment causing extensive damage to the pickup. Dedrick received minor injuries in the accident, but refused treatment at the scene. The report states the Patrol was assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department.
