Johnson County accident injures two-Holden residents

At 6:16pm Friday the 4th of December the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on Highway-131 at Southwest 100 Road in Johnson County. The accident happened according to the report as the Southbound 2011 Ford Fusion driven by 56-year-old Leah A. Daugherty of Holden swerved to avoid a slow moving vehicle. The vehicle then crossed into Northbound lane and struck a 2000 Ford F250 driven by 17-year-old Andrew J. Collins also of Holden. Daugherty suffered serious injuries in the accident, and was taken to Research Medical Center by Lifeflight Eagle for treatment. Collins was transported to Children’s Mercy by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries.

25-year-old Grandview man injured in a Henry County accident Friday

Just before 5pm Friday December the 4th 25-year-old Jordan Bosch of Grandview received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident on 217 Road and Highway-7 in Henry County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the 2003 Ford driven by Bosch travelled off the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Bosch was not wearing his seat belt and received moderate injuries in the crash. He was transported to Golden Valley Hospital by EMS for treatment.

One-vehicle accident in Johnson County injures an Archie man

At 3:35pm Friday the 4th of December the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway-58 East of County Road Southwest 1521 in Johnson County. The accident occurred according to the accident report as the driver of a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country, 47-year-old Jeffery R. Craig of Archie lost control of his vehicle on a curve, travelled off the roadway and overturned. Craig received minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. Craig was reportedly not wearing his seat belt.
