Sedalia woman injured Thursday night in a Saline County accident

At 9:43pm Thursday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Route “N” at 65 Highway in Saline County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 22-year-old Shanne R. Sellers of Sedalia was Southbound on Route “N”, and a 1998 Volvo driven by 58-year-old Ronald G. Armstrong of Springfield was travelling South on US-65 Highway. The report states Sellers failed to stop at a stop sign, and pulled into the path of the Armstrong vehicle causing the crash. Sellers received moderate injuries in the crash, and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS for treatment. A passenger in the Seller’s vehicle identified as 26-year-old Alvin J. Hensley of Marshall had minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene. Neither victim was reportedly wearing a seatbelt.

Brunswick man injured in a Saline County accident Thursday morning

Just before 11am Thursday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a vehicle accident on Missouri Highway-41 North of 250th Street in Saline County. According to the report the accident happened as a 1993 Freightliner driven by 57-year-old Keith A. Leimkuehler of Brunswick travelled off the roadway to avoid a stalled vehicle in the roadway. The Freightliner struck a culvert, returned to the roadway, and ran off the other side of the road, then came to rest in a field. Leimkuehler received minor injuries, and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment .
