14-year-old falls out of truck’s bed driven by a 14-year-old driver in Johnson County

 

Just after mid-night this (Friday) morning the Missouri State Highway reported a 14-year-old Male victim suffered serious injuries in a fall from the bed of a truck on Northeast 221 Road at Northeast 1150 Road in Johnson County. The 1996 Ford F-350 was being driven by 14-year-old Hunter G. Calhoon of Warrensburg when 14-year-old Caleb S. Calhoon fell from the truck and struck the roadway. Caleb was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital by Lifeflight Eagle for treatment of his injuries.

 

19-year-old Lincoln woman seriously injured Thursday in a Pettis County crash

 

At 11:41 Thursday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one vehicle accident on Highway “O”  just South of Beaman. The accident happened according to the report as the 2007 Ford Focus driven by 19-year-old Linzie S. Green of Lincoln travelled off the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned. Green suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported to University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia by Air Ambulance for treatment. A passenger in the vehicle, 20-year-old Christian A. Griffith also of Lincoln reportedly had no injuries.

 

Springfield woman injured in a one-vehicle accident in Benton County Thursday night

 

Around 9:13 Thursday night 50-year-old Olga E. Jones of Springfield Missouri lost control of the 2006 Chevrolet HHR she was driving a mile North of Lincoln on 50 Highway. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the vehicle then struck a guardrail before coming to a stop. Jones received minor injuries in the wreck, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw/Lincoln EMS for treatment.
