Clinton woman injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday morning

Around 6:50 Friday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on County Road Southeast 110 in Henry County. The accident reportedly happened when the driver of a 2005 Isuzu, 46-year-old Dawn M. Hill of Clinton lost control of the Isuzu, ran off the roadway, and struck a tree. The Isuzu then rotated clockwise, and struck a second tree. Hill was not wearing a seatbelt, and suffered moderate injuries in the crash. She was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by personal conveyance. The Isuzu was reportedly totaled.

51-year-old Eldon woman injured in a Pettis County crash Friday night

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on US-50 Highway East of Missouri 135 in Pettis County at 7:30 Friday night. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver of a 2005 Pontiac, Tammy L. Boyd of Eldon fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle then crossed the centerline, ran off the roadway, and down a steep embankment where it struck a ditch and two-trees before coming to rest. Boyd was wearing her seat belt, and suffered only minor injuries. She refused treatment at the scene.
