Two Clinton teenagers suffered minor to moderate injuries after a one-vehicle accident in Henry County around 6:45 p.m. January 22. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2015 Chevrolet Cruz failed to negotiate a curve on NW 950 Road, left the roadway and came to rest in a creek. 17-year-old Alexis Griffis and 15-year-old Isabella Ladd were both taken to Golden Valley Hosptial by EMS for treatment.


An accident in Moniteau County around 10 p.m. on January 22 led to serious injuries for a woman from Clarksburg, Missouri. According to the Missouri State HIghway Patrol, a 2010 Ford Escape failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a 2003 Kenworth tractor-trailer on U.S. 50 at Route H. 70-year-old Marcella K. Tyler was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital. The Ford Escape was totaled in the accident.
