Four children injured in a Benton County accident Sunday night

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, just after 7:30 Sunday night a one-vehicle accident occurred on Missouri Highway 52 East of Route “W” in Benton County. The accident happened according to the report when the driver of a 2003 Mercury Sable, 31-year-old Theora M. Dinwiddie of Ulman Missouri failed to negotiate a curve while travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle then travelled across the centerline, began to skid, and left the roadway where it struck an embankment, a ditch and a tree before coming to rest. Four Dinwiddie Children ages 7-8-10, and 12 received moderate injuries in the accident, and were taken to Bothwell Hospital for treatment.

Two Sedalia women injured in a Johnson County accident Sunday afternoon

At 2:40pm Sunday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on US-50 Highway East of County Road Northwest 821 in Johnson County. The crash occurred as the 1998 Honda driven by 22-year-old Jannet Berganza of Sedalia left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned ejecting Berganza who was not wearing a seatbelt, and then came to rest on its wheels. Berganza suffered serious injuries in the accident, and was transported to St. Lukes on the Plaza by Lifeflight Air Ambulance for treatment. A passenger,22-year-old Lizbeth T. Arce also of Sedalia received minor injuries and was taken to Lees Summit Medical Center by EMS for treatment.

Odessa woman injured in a Lafayette County accident Saturday night

Around 8:30pm Saturday night an Odessa woman identified as 78-year-old Ruby A. Weeks was involved in a traffic accident on Highway ”TT” a half mile East of Grubb Road in Lafayette County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the 1989 Buick Park Avenue Weeks was driving travelled off the roadway, impacted an embankment, and came to rest in a creek. Weeks suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Odessa EMS for treatment.

35-year-old Sedalia woman injured Sunday night in a Pettis County accident

At 11pm Sunday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident that occurred on US-65 Highway South of Hall Road in Pettis County. The accident report states the 2013 KIA Soul driven by 35-year-old Andrea L. Raines of Sedalia was Northbound on US-65 Highway when the KIA travelled off of the roadway, and struck a guardrail before coming to rest in the median. Raines was reportedly transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries.
