Centerview man suffers serious injuries in a rollover accident in Johnson County

At 11:22pm Friday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on eastbound 50 Highway West of Northwest 250 Road in Johnson County. The crash reportedly occurred as the 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche driven by 50-year-old Christopher Martin of Centerview ran off the roadway, and overturned. The accident report states Martin was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the vehicle. He suffered serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by Life Flight for treatment.

Kansas City man injured in a deer/vehicle accident in Johnson County this (Tuesday) morning

Around 2:30 this (Tuesday) morning the driver of a 2014 Dodge, 23-year-old Taryn Morgan of Kansas City Missouri struck a deer in the roadway on Southeast 23 Highway and Southeast “D” road in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report states the vehicle then travelled off the roadway, and down a steep embankment before coming to a stop. A passenger 27-year-old William Morrow of Kansas City Missouri received minor injuries in the accident, and was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

Four Sedalia teens receive minor injuries in a Pettis County accident Sunday

At 6:30 Sunday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Cherry Tree Lane South of Cloney Road in Pettis County. The accident happened when the driver of a 2013 Toyota Corrella 17-year-old Christian Mabry of Sedalia failed to negotiate a curve, travelled off the roadway, and overturned. Mabry, and passengers 18-year-old Zechariah Jones, 17-year-old Heather Buck, and 16-year-old Mitchell Paull all of Sedalia were wearing seatbelts, and received only minor injuries. All four victims refused treatment at the scene.
