17-year-old Sedalia resident injured in a Thursday accident in Pettis County

 

At 1:21 Thursday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Cherry Tree Lane a tenth of a mile South of Route “H” in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, 17-year-old Rhianna D. Holland of Sedalia lost control of her vehicle and travelled across the roadway and struck a 1996 Ford driven by 70-year-old Julius R. Marcum also of Sedalia. Holland was not wearing a seat belt, and suffered moderate injuries in the collision. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment by private conveyance. Both vehicle received minor damage and were driven from the scene.

 

Lamonte woman injured in a Johnson County accident Wednesday

 

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol Accident Report, the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet 50-year-old Rhonda M. Vickers of Lamonte was stopped in traffic with the turn signal on, on Business Highway 13 just South of Southeast 240 in Johnson County, when she was struck in the rear by a 1999 Jeep driven by 21-year-old Alex J. Anstine of Chilhowie. Vickers received moderate injuries in the accident and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by EMS for treatment. Both vehicles were extensively damaged in the wreck, and were towed from the scene.
