Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports

According to a Missouri State Highway patrol accident report, at 5pm Saturday evening a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 32-year-old Jennifer Dalton of Bates City ran off of Route “K” 800 feet south of Ridgeview Drive in Benton County. The accident report states the Pontiac struck a tree totaling the vehicle, and causing serious injuries to Dalton. Dalton was transported to the University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

At 12:32am Sunday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted by the Pettis County sheriff’s Department reported a two-vehicle injury accident, that occurred on US 50-Highway at Route “MM” in Pettis County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2008 Ford Focus driven by 37-year-old Cynthia A. Donnell of Centerview was stopped at a stop light, when a 2002 Dodge Ram failed to stop, and struck the Donnell vehicle in the rear. The accident report states the Donnell vehicle became disabled in the right lane of the intersection, while the Dodge Ram travelled off the roadway, and then left the scene. Donnell and her three passengers 15-year-old Deanna P. Donnell, 13-year-old Stormy B. Donnell, and 8-year-old Blair V. Donnell all of Centerview received minor injuries, and were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Around 1:40 this (Monday) morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “D” at Blue Valley Road in Lafayette County.  The accident occurred as the driver of a 2003 Ford 73-year-old Homer L. Odell of Wellington failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection, and travelled across “D” and struck a ditch before coming to rest. Odell suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Centerpoint Hospital by Wellington EMS for treatment.
