Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports for the Morning of April 11, 2016

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon in Lafayette County, that resulted in the death of one man. The accident occurred on Route FF, just East of Brush Creek Road. The crash occurred as the 1997 Infinity J-30 travelled off the roadway and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle then travelled off the opposite side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned, ejecting the driver. The driver is identified as 32-year old Thomas M. Schmidt, of Higginsville. Schmidt was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, in Lexington.
