Sedalia woman suffers serious injuries Tuesday in a Moniteau county Crash

 

At 2:25pm Tuesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on US-50 Highway a half mile West of Snorgrass Road in Moniteau County, that involved a Sedalia woman. According to the report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2001 Honda Civic, 24-year-old Sabrina D. Fields of Sedalia attempted to pass a tractor trailer, and collided head-on with a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Samantha R. Kessler of Lees Summit. Both Kessler and Fields suffered serious injuries in the collision, and were taken to University of Missouri Hospital by Mid-Missouri Ambulance for treatment. Both vehicles were totaled and had to be towed from the scene.

 

18-year-old Kingsville man injured in a Johnson County accident Wednesday night

 

Around 9pm Wednesday night the driver of a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, 18-year-old David M. Scott-Robinson of Kingsville reportedly failed to negotiate a curve in the 1600 block of Northwest 200 Road in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report states the Sunfire then travelled off the roadway, struck the ground and 2-fences before coming to rest. Scott-Robinson was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Johnson County Ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries.
