59-year-old Sedalia man seriously injured in a Pettis County crash Wednesday

At 9:50pm Wednesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reported a one-vehicle injury accident  on McGee Road east of Route “M” in Pettis County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 1991 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 59-year-old William R. Ash of Sedalia crossed the centerline. The driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to skid and overturn several times. The vehicle then struck a fence before coming to rest. Ash was transported to University Hospital by Pettis County Ambulance, for treatment of serious injuries.

Two people injured early this (Thursday) morning in a Pettis County accident

Around 2:30am this (Thursday) morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Southbound US-65 Highway South of Claycomb Road in Pettis County. The accident reportedly happened as a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 60-year-old Grover W. Snow of Warsaw slowed due to vehicle defects, and was struck in the rear by a 2009 Freightliner Cascadia driven by 60-year-old Steven D. Betts of Hartsville Missouri. The accident report states both vehicles exited the Highway on the right side of the  roadway, overturned. The Betts vehicle then struck an embankment and became engulfed in flames. Snow suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment, while Betts received moderate injuries, and was taken to Bothwell regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance for treatment.

Lincoln woman injured this (Thursday) morning in a Benton County accident

69-year-old Barbara S. Baney reportedly received minor injuries in a Benton County accident just after 10am this (Thursday) morning. According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report the accident occurred on Route “H” 2-miles east of US-65 Highway in Benton County, as Baney’s 2011 Ford F-150 travelled off the roadway and overturned. Baney was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Benton County EMS for treatment.
