Warsaw woman suffers serious injuries in a Pettis County accident Wednesday afternoon

At 3:28 Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident in Pettis County. According to the report the accident occurred as the 2001 BMW by 23-year-old Casey B. Flowers of Clinton failed to stop at the intersection of Missouri Route 52 and Route “E” in Pettis County. The Flowers vehicle reportedly struck a 2004 Honda driven by 25-year-old Sydney L. Miller of Warsaw causing both vehicles to leave the roadway. The Miller vehicle then overturned causing serious injuries to the driver, who was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County EMS for treatment. Flowers reportedly received minor injuries in the crash and was taken by private vehicle to seek her own treatment.

19-year-old Bates City woman seriously injured in Lafayette County Crash

Around 12:50 this Thursday morning 19-year-old Elicya M. Florez of Bates City received serious injuries in a rollover accident, that occurred on Route “D” South of Happy Hollow in Lafayette County. The Missouri State Highway patrol reported Florez was a passenger in the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by 20-year-old Brandon E. Kavanaugh also of Bates City that travelled off the roadway and overturned. Florez was transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.

Warrensburg teen injured in a Johnson County accident Wednesday afternoon

At 2:20pm Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on County Road Southeast 150, West of County Road Southeast 200 in Johnson County. The accident report states the driver of a 1997 Pontiac Grand-Am, 17-year-old Thomas T. Jaques of Warrensburg lost control of his vehicle and travelled off the roadway. The vehicle overturned causing minor injuries to Jaques, who was transported to the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by private vehicle for treatment.
