Harrisonville man injured Wednesday morning in a Pettis County Accident

At 10:40 Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an injury accident on 65-Highway North of Claycomb Road. According to the report the accident occurred as the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet, 19-year-old Patrick T. Fletcher of Harrisonville fell asleep at the wheel, and ran off the roadway. The vehicle struck two-road signs, then returned to the roadway as the driver overcorrected, crossed the highway, and overturned. Fletcher was taken to Bothwell Regional Health center by EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

20-year-old Columbia man injured in a Saline County accident Monday morning

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, just after 9am on Monday 20-year-old Kwasi O. Vann of Columbia ran off of I-70 at mile marker 84.4. The vehicle reportedly went off the left side of the roadway, then Vann overcorrected, and returned to the roadway. The vehicle then ran off the left side of the roadway again, and struck a cable post and guardrail. Vann received minor injuries, and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

Accident in Lafayette County Tuesday morning injures an Odessa woman

Around 6:30am Tuesday morning the Missouri state Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway-131 and Greenton Road in Lafayette County. The accident happened according to the report as the driver of a 2007 Ford, 22-year-old Courtney J. Hardesty of Odessa lost control of her vehicle in a curve, and ran off the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert pipe, and came to rest partially in the roadway. Hardesty escaped with minor injuries, and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs for treatment.
