Two-Pleasant Hill people injured in a Lafayette County accident

At 6:26 Friday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on the entrance ramp at Missouri Highway 131, and westbound I-70. The accident occurred according to the report as the 1997 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 27-year0old Coly L. Byrd of Pleasant Hill travelled off the roadway, and overturned. Byrd and a passenger 23-year-old Kara L. Carpenter also of Pleasant Hill were not wearing seat belts, and suffered serious injuries in the crash. Byrd was transported to Research Hospital by Lifeflight, and Carpenter was transported by ambulance to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

Three injuries reported in a Pettis County accident this (Tuesday) morning

Just before 1am this (Tuesday) morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported an injury accident on Route “V” east of Stuhner Road in Pettis County. The accident happened according to the report as the 1997 Dodge Ram driven by 22-year-old Henry E. Roberts of Smithton ran off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, and then ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned in a ditch. Roberts received minor injuries, and refused treatment at the scene. A passenger, 31-year-old Jeffrey S. Langdon of Greenridge had moderate injuries, while a second passenger, 26-year-old Amber E. Endsley of Windsor received minor injuries. They were transported to Bothwell regional Health Center for treatment. None of the injured were wearing seat belts according to that report.

Pettis county accident injures a Sedalia man Friday

Around 12:20pm Friday afternoon 61-year-old Richard W. Vansel of Sedalia received moderate injuries in an accident on Overstreet Road at Florence Road in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report states the accident happened as the 2003 Chevrolet driven by 63-year-old Wayne E. Goosen of Smithton failed to yield at a stop light, and struck the 2000 Ford driven by Vansel. Vansel was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
